Moonchild Cafe Bar & Bistro was born from the vision of two passionate partners who, together, have built one of Prahran’s most loved cafe bars. On one hand, our front-of-house manager brings over 9 years of cafe bar management experience and is both a certified barista and a skilled bartender — ensuring every coffee is brewed to perfection and every cocktail is crafted with care. As a result, every guest at our Prahran cafe bar feels right at home from the moment they walk in. On the other hand, our head chef brings 11+ years of culinary experience, having worked in world-renowned restaurants and furthermore earned silver and bronze medals at the prestigious New Zealand Chefs Competition. Together, they’ve created a Prahran cafe bar where hospitality meets artistry — and where every plate tells a story.
